Manor ISD Pioneer Crossing Elementary
This $13.9 million project consisted of a new two-story 87,000 square foot elementary school for Manor ISD, which included classrooms, a music room, handicapped access classrooms, kitchen, administration area, stage, cafeteria, library, and a multi-purpose room. MEP Engineering, Inc. was hired by project architect, Fields & Associates Architects, and provided the following:
- Ground loop water source heat pumps for classrooms
- A combination of heat recovery units and direct expansion unites for the remainder of the school facilities
- Plumbing systems which included electronic systems on water closets, urinals, and lavatories
- A public-address system
- A fire alarm system
- Electrical systems, which included lighting and power distribution, and lighting controls
This project was completed in 2009.
