Lake Travis ISD West Cypress Hills Elementary School
This $18,176,000 project includes a new 102,000 square foot elementary school in Spicewood, Texas. MEP Engineering, Inc. was hired by project architect, Pfluger & Associates Architects, and provided the following:
- Combination of geothermal and chilled water outside air pretreatment units
- Rain barrels were installed for rainwater and condensate harvesting
- Plumbing systems contained electronic sensors on water closets, urinals and lavatories to conserve water and ensure sanitation.
- Electrical systems included classroom, LED common area lighting, parking lot lighting, and fire alarm systems
