James Holloway, P.E., LEED AP Sr. Engineer | PM | Electrical
Over the course of his engineering career, James Holloway has designed electrical systems for a wide variety of building types, including commercial offices, university buildings, hospitals, recreation facilities, and with multiple K-12 educational projects. Beginning as a project engineer immediately after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2007, he soon advanced to project management. While his work has been based mainly in the Central Texas region, he has also had the opportunity to work throughout the State of Texas. Having passed the LEED certification exam in 2008, he also has a comprehensive understanding of sustainable engineering best practices, energy codes, and green design standards.
James’ projects have ranged from the design of multiple laboratory renovations at the University of Texas at Austin, to additions and renovations to numerous K-12 facilities, to designing surgical centers and stand-alone health care clinics. He has extensive experience in the design of lighting and power systems, lighting controls, power distribution, emergency power, and fire alarm systems. James is a detail oriented engineer and is great addition to any project team. He knows how to jump right in with projects, and his can-do attitude makes him a natural technical team lead.
On a personal note, James’ focus has always been on his family. He likes nothing better than going to the park to swim with his two daughters, Jillian and Vivian, or enjoying a fine dining experience with his wife Rebekah, when they have the opportunity for date night. And of course, he’s always been a huge fan of Texas A&M University athletics, including just about any sport the Aggies happen to be playing.
