Marie has experience working in the data center, industrial manufacturing, life sciences, higher education, healthcare, and energy and utilities sectors for a broad range of public and private clients.</p>
<p>Marie’s approachable nature and ease integrating into new networks and markets has been an invaluable asset in her business development roles. Coupled with her experience in marketing and technical competence developing collateral, proposal pursuits, and firm voice and branding, Marie helps seamlessly integrate the complimentary responsibilities of marketing and business development. At the heart of her professional philosophy is the belief that clear, effective communication is paramount to this success.</p>
<p>A 7th generation Texan, and with a presence in Central Texas since 1998, Marie has deep roots in the area. She loves taking a chilly dip in Barton Springs, visiting the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, and seeing her family in San Antonio. She is an avid reader and book club participant and can be found exploring the Violet Crown Trail with her husband, two sons, and dog on the weekends.</p>

<p>Prior to joining Waterloo|MEP, Freddy served in many professional capacities over the years, most recently as an engineering director, overseeing multiple electrical design teams. With an impressive portfolio of successfully completed projects, Freddy has shown time and again his leadership capabilities. He understands the importance of staying engaged throughout the project delivery process, from conceptual design to construction administration and commissioning. His hands-on approach extends from overseeing the major design decisions to navigating the project’s minutiae. He excels at developing complicated systems, especially for mass manufacturing and semiconductor facilities.</p>
<p>Freddy truly has a dynamic skillset, and he enjoys nothing more than being able to share his knowledge with others. He is one of the founders of Hola Data, a group dedicated to fostering the growth of the Latin and Hispanic communities within the data center and mission-critical industry. He serves on the Industry Board for Austin Community College’s Architecture and Engineering Computer-Aided Design department. Furthermore, he has served as a mentor to many in the AEC community and finds educating others to be one of the biggest joys in his job.</p>
<p>When he isn’t at work, Freddy can often be found road biking in and around Austin, watching soccer, or trying out a new restaurant in town. He also loves to travel in his spare time and has enjoyed the opportunities to work on challenging projects across the globe.</p>
