Carlos Zavala, QCxP Commissioning Team Lead

After earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler, Carlos moved to Austin to begin his career as a Consultant Client Manager. In this role, Carlos’ work took him across the state where he worked on projects from the Gulf Coast to North Texas. This experience gave him the opportunity to familiarizing himself with the project conditions that are unique to many of Texas’ vast range of climates, as well as any other circumstances relevant to the project at hand. He has built a solid reputation as a leader, and someone who can easily manage a team to get the best results possible. He strives to continuously improve standards and expectations in order to provide quality serves to project owners. Furthermore, his expertise has always been able to enhance the construction projects’ functionality

As a Qualified Commissioning Provider (QCxP), Carlos provides expertise in the review of HVAC construction and equipment, temperature control, and system commissioning. In addition, he can perform air and water system test and balance.

On a personal side, Carlos is interested in a variety of subjects including space, physics, sports, and world cultures. He enjoys exercising and traveling when possible. Furthermore, he takes every opportunity to participate in events held to raise money for non-profit organizations or the betterment of his community.
