Betsy Spore, P.E. Engineer | Mechanical

Betsy Spore joined MEP Engineering in 2023 with a variety of project experience and technical expertise. She has a plethora of experience in HVAC design for large government projects as well as  similar work for private clients. Her past work included large-scale Data Centers, and since starting at MEP she has been quick to translate this experience to K-12 projects. Betsy has shown herself to be both attuned to the smallest of details, as well as extremely able to assess the overall project needs and goals. She has swiftly become an integral team member.

Betsy’s specific technical experience extends to static pressure calculations, psychrometric calculations, duct/pipe sizing and routing, equipment schedules, and clash detection and resolution. She is a conscientious engineer and always attempts to catch issues and complications early in the design process. She is adept at problem solving, and is an excellent communicator when it comes to fellow engineers and laymen alike.
