San Antonio ISD Connell Middle School Renovation

MEP Engineering, Inc., was hired as a sub-consultant to Garza Bomberger & Associates to work on this 85,000 square foot addition and 40,000 square foot renovation of this existing middle school. The HVAC system consisted of chilled and heating water air handling units, which made use of the existing central plant.  MEP’s plumbing design included a new kitchen, along with restrooms, gas piping to makeup air heaters and unit heaters, and finally a drainage system for the roof.  MEP also designed an electrical service replacement.  This system included lighting and power distribution systems from 277/480 volt service, as well as a rough-in for data and communications.
