	Angelo State University - Junell Center Owner: Texas State University System Client: Area: 130,000 Sq Ft Construction Cost: $21,208,000 MEP Cost: $4,739,000 Date Completed: 1/2/2003 New 5,500 seat basketball arena with floor seating for additional 900 seats for graduation, concerts and convocations. Two-story building which included athletic offices, locker rooms, classrooms and training facilities; basketball/volleyball court which can also serve as a banquet/meeting room. Constant volume air handling units for the arena, with CO2 control of outside air based on occupancy. 100% outside air and exhaust for locker room areas, with 2-speed control for reduced energy consumption during off hours. Arena lighting was designed to include instant off / instant on feature.
