New high school featuring a combination earth-coupled water source heat pump and rooftop DX units. Outside air was pretreated using enthalpy heat wheels with supplemental DX cooling. All classrooms were supplied with minimum 15 cfm of outside air per student to comply with then current ASHRAE recommendations for indoor air quality. Plumbing systems included electronic sensors for water closets, urinals and lavatories to conserve water and ensure sanitation. Electrical systems included classroom and athletic field lighting (football, baseball, softball and tennis), power distribution, cable tray systems for all data and communication systems and fire alarm systems. Special systems included dust collection system, welding exhaust system, shop compressed air system, laboratory fume hood exhaust systems, and laboratory compressed air system.
